When you click on the Holes tab, you pick a course first.
This screen shows you list of courses available on your iPhone. If you don't
see your course, then you can add one by clicking on
"Add A New Course" button or clicking on the Courses tab.
After selecting the course, you click on the "Start Game"
button.

After you click on the "Start Game" button, you enter
Players on this screen. You can enter each players name on this screen.
Alternatively if the players are already in your contacts, then click on the
"Select Contacts" button.

You can select upto 3 contacts as second, third and fourth
player. Once you have selected 3 more players, you will not be able to select
any more from this list. After you have selected the players, you will click
on the "Next" button.

This is the main screen for entering scores for each hole.
The "Left and right" arrow button at the top of screen allow you to go to
previous or next hole. The top nav bar shows you the current hole and par and
distance data.
The top section under the nav bar is your score. Then each
section below shows score for each player. In your section you can decrease
or increase your strokes for the hole. Make sure to click the "up-arrow"
button at the location where you are hitting a stroke. Also make sure to
select the "Drive/Fairway/Putt" before increasing the current stroke. This
will help identify the type of stroke. "Hole Distace" shows you your current
distance from the pin/hole. When you click on the Show button, it will show distance
if the coordinates are populated for this hole in the courses screen.
You can enter the number of strokes for each player
at this hole.
You can also take one photo at each hole.
These photo will retain memory of your game forever.
After you reach 18th hole, your game will be
finished.

Rounds

The Rounds tab show a list of all games played in the chronological
order. If you click on the top item it will show you your current scorecard.
You can review all your previous rounds by clicking on a list item.

This screen shows you scorecard for yourself and your
friends. This scorecard shows total for front-nine and back-nine.
If you click on the "Photos" button, all the photos will
be replayed in a slideshow.
When you click on the "Upload" button, your score will be uploaded to the GolfMemoir.com website.
When you click on the "EMail" button, your score will be uploaded to the GolfMemoir.com website and then you can email the score to your friends.

Rounds

When you upload a score for the first time on your device, you will need to register for the GolfMemoir.com website.
You will need to enter the user name and password on this page. Please use a valid email ID as the user name. You can choose any password. The unique ID will be automatically entered for your device.
You don't have to remember the unique ID. But you will need to remember the user name and password when you access your scores from the website.

When you upload scores after the first time,
then the username, password and unique ID will be automatically entered.
The authentication happens based on the unique ID of your device. If you want to change the user name,
then click on the Change button next to the User Name field.
If you forget the password, then you can change it by clicking the Change button. Then remember to upload the score.
This will ensure your changes are uploaded to the website for any future website use.

Courses

When you click on the Courses tab, you see the list of
courses available on your phone. Click on a course if you want to edit a
course. Click on the "Download" button if you want to download the course
data from the internet. Or you can manually add the course by clicking on the
"Add" button.

This is the "Add or Edit A Course" screen. You can edit
the course name and other course information. If you click on the Website button,
then the course website will be launched. If you click on the Phone button,
then you will be able to call the phone number for this course.
The table on this screen shows you par info for each hole.
Click the "Edit" button from the list to change the hole
information e.g. par, hole location, handicap etc. You will need to update
all this information to take full advantage of this application.
Click the "Delete" button if you want to delete this course.
Click the "Backup" button if you want to upload this course to the GolfMemoir website. This course info will be available for download if you need it in future.
Click the "Save" button when you are read to save this course on the iPhone.

Courses

Change Par and Handicap by clicking down-arrow or up-arrow controls for the
current hole.
You can also enter the hole distances for the black, blue,
white and red tees.
You can also set the hole layout.
The first time you play on the course, you can set the GPS
location for each hole and tee. This mapping will help you show your distance
in the subsequent games.
This screen shows you your current GPS location in the
"Location" field. This location field will keep changing as walk around. When
you are on the tee, you can click "Set Tee" button to set the tee location.
When you reach the green, you can record the hole location by clicking the
"Set Hole" button.
Use the left and right arrow buttons at the top navigation
bar to change information for other holes. Make sure you at least enter par info for
each hole.

Courses

You can download course info from internet if it is
available.
Enter a letter or two in the search field, then click on
"Search button" on the pop-up keyboard. Then a list of available courses will
be displayed in the table. You can select a course and click on the
"download" button to start downloading hole data to your phone.
Currently there may not be lot of course available on the
internet. We encourage you to upload the course info when you manually create
it for the first time. Sharing of the course information will help you and your fellow
players.

Settings

You can change Golf Memoir setting from the "Settings"
icon from the phone home screen. When you get to this screen, click on the
"Golf Memoir"

You can change the distance information to metric by
turning on the toggle. This app and this setting does not make any changes to the distance you enter.
This setting only changes the distance text to yard or metric.
As you know GPS uses lot of power on your phone. Your
phone battery may not last you the whole game. In that situation you can turn
off the GPS distance by toggling on the "Disable GPS" for Golf Memoir.
